The first military conflict of the “Cold War” between Capitalism and Communism, the Korean War was largely the result of the division of Korea following World War II. This was the first time the world would see that although victorious in WWII, the Capitalist and Communist sides were very much on opposing sides. Search our inventory and you will find a vast selection of autographs from some of the more notable figures in this “Cold War” conflict.
Possibly the most controversial war in United States history, the Vietnam War was one of the larger military conflicts of the “Cold War”. There was opposition to the U.S. involvement in the war with protests being staged across the nation, making it one of the most important political issues in America during the time. Our collection includes autographs from many of the key figures of the war that further split the world along Capitalist and Communist sides.
World War II was the most widespread war in the history of mankind. Military forces from all corners of the globe were involved in this world-changing struggle. From the beaches of Normandy and the great land battles of the war in Europe to the intense battles in the seas and the airs of the Pacific, you will find autographs from a wide variety of important figures of the war in our inventory, from a number of the nations involved in the conflict.
During the last few decades the face of war has changed across the world, as evidenced by a number of different conflicts. From the Gulf War up until the more recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, the way our troops wage war in the new “War on Terror” has changed a great deal from previous wars.. Our collection includes items from soldiers and leaders who have played important roles in these more recent struggles.
WWI
World War I was the first major, widespread war of the modern era. The Great War involved all of the world’s major powers. The war was especially deadly due to the first comprehensive use of trench warfare, as well as the first wartime fighter plane battles. Our collection features a number of items from the war, including autographs from important figures of the conflict, including military leaders and the world’s first fighter aces.
