William Bower

Authentic William M. Bower autographed vintage commemorative first day philatelic cover commemorating The Doolittle Raid of April 18th, 1942. Bower was the Pilot of Crew #12 and has inscribed the cover with the following "Plane #2278 Take off position #12 William M. Bower, Pilot." This piece was signed in the 1980's and is a great example of his full name signature as most modern day signed pieces are much more rushed and far less legible due to his age.
