Wolfram Eisenlohr

Authentic vintage 'commemorative postal cover' hand signed by legendary WWI German General and Pilot, Wolfram Eisenlohr. On August 27, 1917 Eisenlohr was the 1st to sink a Russian destroyer with bombs from an airplane and he went on to be part of the 'first capture with a seeplane' when seven Russian soliders were captured by the Germans in the Gulf of Riga on October 17, 1917. Following the war Eisenlohr was a test pilot for the Luftwaffe.
