James McDivitt

James McDivitt (b. June 10, 1929) former astronaut of the Gemini and Apollo programs, autographed First Day Cover. McDivitt was the Flight Commander aboard the Gemini 4 in which Edward White performed the first U.S. space walk and later commanded the Apollo 9 flight which was the first manned Earth orbital test of the Apollo Lunar Module. McDivitt retired from the Air Force and NASA in 1972. This original vintage First Day Cover is autographed by McDivitt and is in excellent condition.
