Sally Ride

Sally Ride (b. May 26, 1951), former American female physicist and NASA astronaut, autographed official NASA 8x10 photograph. In 1978, Ride joined NASA and in 1983, became the first American to enter space at the young age of 32 as a crew member on the Space Shuttle Challenger for STS-7. In 1986, Ride was named to the Presidential Commission charged with investigating the Challenger accident. in 1987, Ride left NASA to work at the Stanford University Center for International Security and Arms Control. This original vintage color photo is autographed by Ride and in excellent condition.
