US Navy Underwater Demolition Team

Tremendously unique, authentic hand written letter, in response to an autograph collectors request from the U.S. Naval Amphibious Underwater Demolition Team. The letter is on their official letterhead and dated December 7, 1965. The letter hand written by team member David G. Sutherland also includes the authentic signatures of the team involved in the pickup of the Astronauts of Gemini 6 and 7 as noted in the letter including Daniel J. Troser, John E. Kennedy, Reger H. Bales, Joe Hulse, Al Baldin and Gene Warta. Certainly a unique vintage item related both to the U.S. Navy Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) and also to the Gemini NASA space program.
