Patricia Bowman, legendary founding member of American Ballet Theater, who was first American ballerina to win critical acclaim as both a classical and a musical-theater dancer. This vintage 7x9 matte finish photograph which dates circa the late 1920's includes the authentic autograph of this legendary dancer and is hand signed "Sincerely, Patricia Bowman, Roxy Theatre 1931." Being nearly 80 years old, the photograph is in great shape with only a couple slight creased to the left edge and a crease to the lower right corner. The photograph as the original photograph credits on the reverse "Maurice Goldberg."
