William D. Lewis, Union Army colonel during the American Civil War, original 1800s Carte-de-visite photograph.  Published by Richards Photograph and Fine Art Gallery of Philadelphia.

Lewis was commissioned Colonel of the 110th Pennsylvania and led the regiment against Stonewall Jackson in the Valley, at Cedar Mountain, Second Manassas and Antietam. He resigned on December 20, 1862 but still managed a Brevet in March 1865.

Approximately 2.5 x 4 inches in size, this Carte-de-visite photograph is in good condition, aside from a slight touch of expected aging.
