Monteil, a 19th century French painter, oil on canvas depicting Napoleon Bonaparte and other soldiers on horseback. Signed to bottom right "J. Monteil". Painting measures approximately 34 x 48 inches with frame. Good to fair condition with age appropriate wear and several patches to back as well as some chipping in on front. 

Overall, excellent visual appeal and an excellent representation of the Napoleonic Wars era.
