Robert George Young (February 22, 1907 – July 21, 1998), American television, film, and radio actor, vintage 8 x 10 satin double-weight photograph credited to Clarence Sinclair Bull. As Charley Phelps in "The Longest Night." Dated 1937.
"The Longest Night" is a 1936 American mystery film directed by Errol Taggart and written by Robert Hardy Andrews. The film stars Robert Young, Florence Rice, Ted Healy, Julie Haydon, Catherine Doucet and Janet Beecher. The film was released on October 2, 1936, by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Clarence Sinclair Bull (May 22, 1896 – June 8, 1979) was a portrait photographers who worked for the movie studios during the "Golden Age of Hollywood." He was head of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer stills department for nearly forty years.
Verso bears original Bull credit stamping, publicity snipe and other filing notations. In very good condition.
