Dwight D. Eisenhower (October 14, 1890 - March 28, 1969), 34th United States President and Supreme Commander of Allied Forces in Europe during World War II, original vintage printed White House card. Card features printed facsimile signature.
The card reads, in part: Is is a pleasure to send my greetings to those attending the 8th World Congress of the International Society for the Welfare of Cripples..." The card was printed circa 1950s, following the development of the first effective polio vaccine by Jonas Salk in 1952.
Approximately 3.5 x 6.25 inches in size. Fine condition.
