Abraham Silverstein

Abraham Silverstein (September 15, 1908 — June 1, 2001), former NASA and NACA manager who was instrumental in the planning of the Apollo, Ranger, Mariner, Surveyor, and Voyager missions. This is an authentic, autographed 'Honoring Dr. Robert H. Goddard' vintage first day of issue cover canceled at in Roswell, New Mexico on October 5th, 1964 and hand signed by Silverstein in bold black felt tip marker adding the inscription "NASA Director of Space Flight Development 4 Years '58, '59, '60, '61".
