Carl J. Crane

Authentic Carl J. Crane autographed vintage commemorative philatelic cover. Crane was a Colonel in the USAF and along with William C. Ocker was instrumental in developing the first Army Air Corps instrumental flight training program. He also designed the first fully automatic airplane landing system, won a Mackay Trophy and distinguished flying cross award.
