Francois Xavier de Schwarz (8 January 1762 - 9 October 1826), French military officer, authentic, autographed document (DS). This one page document measures approximately 8" x 12" in size and is dated December 6, 1803.

Schwarz joined the French Army in 1776. He became a cavalry officer during the French Revolutionary Wars. He partook in several military campaigns, including the Battle of Troy Island, Battle of Austerlitz and Battle of Bruch, to name just a few.

He was awarded the Legion of Honour in 1805 and named a Baron of the Empire in 1808.

This one page, untranslated financial document is crisply signed by Schwarz at the conclusion. It is in good to very good condition, with overall light toning not affecting the signature. The document contains some scattered creases and expected intersecting folds. In addition, the right and bottom margins are slightly frayed.
