Alexander Bauday

Alexander Bauday, French Officer, authentic, autographed annotated letter (ALS). This circa 1804, two page letter measures approximately 7" x 9" in size.

The letter is addressed to Napoleon Bonaparte's younger brother Jerome. In the letter, Bauday rejoices over the proclamation of Napoleon becoming Emperor. He later goes on to beg for the favor of being named as Aide-de-Camp to Jerome.

This two page, untranslated letter is crisply signed by Bauday at the conclusion. It is in good to very good condition, with overall light toning not affecting the signature. There are some scattered creases, small tears and expected intersecting folds.
