George Herbert Walker Bush, 41st President of the United States, authentic, autographed typed letter (TLS), dated November 8, 1982. The letter is typed on stationary of the Vice President, Bush's position at the time under President Ronald Reagan. The letter is addressed to Congressman Bill Young.
The letter reads: "Barbara and I were delighted with your win last Tuesday, one of the real bright spots of the evening. It was especially meaningful to me, for I remember with pleasure appearing with you February 5. It was clear from the high spirit of the day that you were on your way to victory. Congratulations and best wishes for a successful 1983 and beyond."
Signed in blue ink pen along with the following handwritten P.S.: "No opponent - thats the way to do it!" Fine condition.
