Sir Winston Churchill (November 30,  1874 –  January 24, 1965), former U.K. Prime Minister, authentic, autographed letter (TLS) typed on personal stationary. June 30, 1932.

Churchill is honored that his history of World War I, "The World Crisis" will be adopted as a text-book at the Royal Military College "at Sandhurst where I was a cadet," however, "I do not think I need to read the book through" to select which chapters should be chosen having "no doubt the extracts will have been made to give a fair representation of the story."

Churchill was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. Widely regarded as one of the greatest wartime leaders of the 20th century, Churchill was also an officer in the British Army, a historian, a writer, and an artist. He is the only British Prime Minister to have won the Nobel Prize in Literature, and was the first person to be made an honorary citizen of the United States.
