Michael Jordan (February 17, 1963), authentic, autographed dead stock Nike "Air Jordan 1" shoes. The limited edition shoes, US Men's size 13, Jordan's actual size, are hand signed on the front toe box of the right shoe in bold black felt tip marker. These shoes were signed exclusively by Jordan in conjunction with Upper Deck Authenticated for JG Autographs and are accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from both JG Autographs, Inc. and Upper Deck Authenticated as well as an affixed UDA authentication hologram, strategically placed on the bottom sole of the signed right shoe.

In 2012, acclaimed Contemporary British Artist Dave White and Jordan Brand teamed up for a collaborative re-design, and the result is the "Air Jordan 1 High DW." The shoes feature the iconic Jordan black/sport red/white color way, and borrow from the revered cement grey 'elephant print' from the "Air Jordan III" design for the forefoot shoe lace strap. Touted as the "UK's Andy Warhol," White's trademark paint splatter and brush strokes are what make this collaboration stand out. White also made the conscious and risky decision to forego the classic Nike "Swoosh" logo that had adorned the "AJ 1" since its inception in 1984, Jordan's "NBA Rookie Of The Year" debut season. In speaking about the project, White commented, “The absolute intent was to make something that actually looked animated and dynamic, explosive and alive even when standing still. I wanted the shoe to almost look like it had been dipped in paint and is exploding with energy.  As people see them in the flesh all the little touches that make them special will unveil themselves. The use of artist grade canvas on the tongue, textured paint printed onto white upper, the laces and sock liners with the stitched wings logo and the box really is the icing on the cake."
