Robert Preston (June 8, 1918 – March 21, 1987), American stage and film actor, vintage glossy 8 x 10 inch photograph. Credited to George Hurrell.
Preston is best remembered for originating the role of Harold Hill in the 1957 musical "The Music Man" and the 1962 film adaptation. He is also known for his Oscar-nominated role as Carroll Toddy Todd in "Victor Victoria" (1982).
George Edward Hurrell (June 1, 1904 – May 17, 1992), photographer who made a significant contribution to the image of glamour presented by Hollywood during the 1930s and 1940s.
Front bottom shows light ink transfer. Verso bears original Hurrell credit stamping, handwritten ID and previous mounting trace to bottom. In very good condition.
