Jacqueline Kennedy, stunning original stationary note card with silver foil lining. A stateley correspondence card and matching envelope which was engraved by Madison Avenue-based luxury stationer Mrs. John L. Strong.
Mrs. John L. Strong, a high-end stationer's boutique, was established in New York City in 1929. Throughout the twentieth century, Mrs. John L. Strong earned a reputation of being one of the world's premier stationers, providing custom stationary to wealthy and influential customers such as Jackie Kennedy, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, and Bette Davis.
Directly from the collection of Mary Gallagher, former personal secretary to Mrs. Kennedy from 1957 to 1964. During her time with the Kennedy's Gallagher saved rare notes, photos, and gifts.
Fine condition. Accompanied by a copy of a letter of provenance from Mary Gallagher.
