George B. Cornish (1867-1946) was known for his portraits and scenes from the American West, including Native Americans and ranchers. He was a protégé of the well-known Western American photographer William Prettyman (1858-1932). Cornish inherited Prettyman's studio in Arkansas City, Kansas in 1905, which he operated until his death in 1946.
Vintage, sepia tone, double-weight, 7¾ x 6 inch photograph.
