Thomas Edison (February 11, 1847 - October 18, 1931), iconic American inventor and businessman of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, authentic, vintage 8 x 10" silver gelatin photograph.  Edison is credited with the creation of numerous devices that influenced life around the world, including the phonograph, the motion picture camera and the first long-lasting practical electric light bulb.

This photo depicts a seated Edison along with Edwin C. Barnes.  The photograph bears an Edison copyright on the front. Additionally, the reverse has pencil notations of the negative number and states "Publication Date 7/24/1914."

Fine vintage condition with only slight signs of age to the edges and corners. Scarce.
