Thomas Edison (February 11, 1847 - October 18, 1931), iconic American inventor and businessman of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, authentic, vintage 6.5 x 8.5" silver gelatin photograph. Edison is credited with the creation of numerous devices that influenced life around the world, including the phonograph, the motion picture camera and the first long-lasting practical electric light bulb.
This photo depicts Edison with the Sales Force of Edison Portland Cement Company. The photograph bears an Edison copyright on the front. Additionally, the reverse has pencil notations of the negative number and publication date of 1914.
Fine vintage condition with only slight signs of age to the edges and corners. Scarce.
